Really enjoy James Patterson books

Amberly

This book was okay, Both the writing was fine and the atmosphere was okay。 The ending was fine and the paced of plot was fine also the cover of book was okay。 I didn't really like the characters and I would liked the characters to been flash out bit more。 This book was okay, Both the writing was fine and the atmosphere was okay。 The ending was fine and the paced of plot was fine also the cover of book was okay。 I didn't really like the characters and I would liked the characters to been flash out bit more。 。。。more

I am normally a huge fan of Patterson, but this one just was not for me。 I didn’t get the twists and turns i usually do with his books。 Not my favorite。

This started out fairly disjointed。 And it lacked attention to detail。 For instance, one of the main characters was insulin dependent but there were instances where one would think her in distress because she didn't have it but that was never addressed。 This started out fairly disjointed。 And it lacked attention to detail。 For instance, one of the main characters was insulin dependent but there were instances where one would think her in distress because she didn't have it but that was never addressed。 。。。more

I liked this book, but, didn’t realize until I started it that I had read it before。 I just scannedit to refresh my mind about the plot。 It was excellent as are all of Patterson’s books

I didn’t go much on this book。 Wish he’d stop writing books with other people

5/10。 After reading the blurb I had big expectations but found this read a bit underwhelming。 Not sure if it’s because of the length of the book and not having enough time to really go into character relationships and more detail but just felt like it was missing some dimension。 Good concept but just wasn’t executed in my opinion。

This book was interesting。 The different shifts in pov kept me wanting to read more。

Mob accountant, Anthony Costello, is murdered in his kitchen。 Three women were in the house with him at the time of his murder and all have fled the scene。 They are his wife, Anna, the maid, Serena and the chef, Sarah。 The story is told from the perspective of four people – Anna, Serena, Sarah and Sarah’s husband, Detective Sean Walsh。This is a stand-alone and not part of any of Patterson’s series。 None of these women are not blaming themselves for the murder but they each had a motive。 There ar Mob accountant, Anthony Costello, is murdered in his kitchen。 Three women were in the house with him at the time of his murder and all have fled the scene。 They are his wife, Anna, the maid, Serena and the chef, Sarah。 The story is told from the perspective of four people – Anna, Serena, Sarah and Sarah’s husband, Detective Sean Walsh。This is a stand-alone and not part of any of Patterson’s series。 None of these women are not blaming themselves for the murder but they each had a motive。 There are also interrogations as part of the chapters/story telling in the book。 Typical James Patterson chapters – short and sweet。It was an ok book。 Even though the chapters were short and one can usually fly through a JP book, it took me a while to get through this one。 Not sure if it was the writing of the co-author or just the story itself, but this one left me kinda…meh。 。。。more

The primary story 'Three Women Disappear' was not a Patterson great。 It had some twists but it just lacked some suspense, some wow moments。 The second story was stronger but I am sure I may have read it previously which meant it ultimately felt like I was rereading。 So all in all not the best Patterson。 The primary story 'Three Women Disappear' was not a Patterson great。 It had some twists but it just lacked some suspense, some wow moments。 The second story was stronger but I am sure I may have read it previously which meant it ultimately felt like I was rereading。 So all in all not the best Patterson。 。。。more

The book itself was not the best。 It is like you can predict almost everything that was going to happen。 As far as the bonus book, Come and get Us。 That was horrible, I think a student in middle school could write a better book。 It was the waste of a hundred pages of paper。

The plot twist was just so great。 Loved

I had an awesome day at the beach, and packed this book to read。 What a great pick! It was 259 pages of twists, surprises, and suspense。 James Pattersona and Shan Serafin wrote great female main characters who were smart, brave, and cunning。 These are not women you want to mess around with! It was also a little funny, and made me laugh out loud at some parts。 This book hooked me from the beginning, and I had trouble putting it down。 It was a real page turner, and I loved it。 If you are looking f I had an awesome day at the beach, and packed this book to read。 What a great pick! Eh…not as good as it could’ve been。

Sarah, the cook, Serena, the maid and Anna, the wife, have all suffered at the hand of mob accountant Anthony Costello。 So when he winds up dead and all three women are missing, the police have a lot to sift through - is anyone telling the truth? The water is further muddied by Sarah’s husband, Det Sean Walsh, who has his own agenda。 Well, this was intriguing but unedifyingly sordid - no one really shines, although I get that the women were placed in an impossible situation。 I’m never a huge fan Sarah, the cook, Serena, the maid and Anna, the wife, have all suffered at the hand of mob accountant Anthony Costello。 So when he winds up dead and all three women are missing, the police have a lot to sift through - is anyone telling the truth? Very well done。 A real page turner。 Didn't know til the very end who the real murderer was。 Interesting plot twist about the police officer, as well。 The hard back book I found at the library also contained a short story - "Come Ane Get Us" by the same authors。 For me, that story was tedious。 Too many pages spent on the woman running from the bad guys。 Very well done。 A real page turner。 Didn't know til the very end who the real murderer was。 Interesting plot twist about the police officer, as well。 The hard back book I found at the library also contained a short story - "Come Ane Get Us" by the same authors。 For me, that story was tedious。 Too many pages spent on the woman running from the bad guys。 。。。more

The book was good。 The three women were interesting in finding out who killed the Mob accountant and their relationship to him。 The book was two different story that weren’t linked。 The second one wasn’t very good though。

I normally like James Patterson however this joint effort is not worth the time。

I lost interest in Three Women Disappear by James Patterson and Sham Serafin and stopped reading at Chapter 8。 It was too confusing。 The detective is interviewing a suspect。 The suspect answers a question, then, it appears she is thinking; "I" this, "I" that, yet the detective would ask a follow up question as if suspect had answered out loud。Without a word, the next chapter, same detective is interviewing a different woman, who likewise answers a question than appears to be thinking, yet detect I lost interest in Three Women Disappear by James Patterson and Sham Serafin and stopped reading at Chapter 8。 It was too confusing。 The detective is interviewing a suspect。 The suspect answers a question, then, it appears she is thinking; "I" this, "I" that, yet the detective would ask a follow up question as if suspect had answered out loud。Without a word, the next chapter, same detective is interviewing a different woman, who likewise answers a question than appears to be thinking, yet detective hears her。 In between chapters, the husband of one of the suspects takes over the story。 One needs to assume he went to a different state to pick up the wife to bring her back for questioning。 What is the timeline here? Who knows。 Why would suspect who fled town still have blood on her clothes when being questioned by detective? I did not even try to read the second bonus novel, Come and Get Us because the first was so spectacularly awful, it was not worth the effort。 。。。more
